This position entails reviewing and processing applications for various loans, including consumer, mortgage, and home equity. Responsibilities include explaining loan policies, evaluating and approving loans, and ensuring members and prospective members are always serviced promptly and professionally—the ability to operate various computer applications, including Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. The County Federal Credit Union has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Card Services – Member Service Representative in Presque Isle. Primarily responsible for all daily functions of the Card Services Department, serves as a backup to the Overdraft Privilege Administrator. Responsible for performing and maintaining a variety of member services such as monitoring plastic fraud, chargebacks and disputes, monitoring card production and card stock inventory controls, providing account information to members, supporting the Overdraft Privilege Program, and fielding additional member issues.

Physical Requirements: Prolonged sitting (5-8 hours per day), frequent use of hands to manipulate/grasp objects, frequent use of fingers for keyboarding, ability to communicate on the phone with members, occasional bending and lifting from floor height, frequent forward reach, walking distance of 20 feet inside and outside branch throughout the workweek.

The County Federal Credit Union is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic individual as a Member Service Representative focused on New Accounts & Lending in our Houlton and Presque Isle branches. Member Service Representatives (MSRs) are responsible for assisting new and existing members in opening all types of new accounts, including but not limited to Shares, Share Drafts, IRA and HSA accounts, Business/Commercial Non-Profit organizations, as well as Municipal, Estate, and Trust accounts. MSRs also educate members on the availability of loans and loan-related products. Applicant must have great written, verbal, and communication skills.
